A snomo drag bike from the 90's? It had 250R plastics on it. I had a shirt from David Allen Racing and this quad was on the back. It said "World's Fastest Quad". If I'm not mistaken it also said Sam Whitten on the shirt. Which if I remember was the guy with the Bantam altered that Rich bought and put the Jeep body on.

Out of the blue, somebody posted a a Rotax triple snomo drag bike on our online bulletin board at work today and I would swear this is it. Said it's 1 of 2 that were ever made like this. Has a Laeger chassis and it's actually a pretty darn sharp bike. I'll get the history of it from the owner tomorrow and post some pics.

I had breakfast with Sam this spring in Mears/Hart
he lives near Silver Lake still but next to a golf course now.

he could do a positive identification of a quad or a three wheeler.....

No, it actually looks like a 250R 4 wheeler.

i heard some story's of when Sam had his sno mo powered quad in the dunes, he would fly in a someone to tune for him.

he was/is called "The Quad Father"

Apparently it's not the same bike. It's actually at Silver Lake. I'll post pics if anybody is interested. The owner is moving from Silver Lake out of the country.

I have never seen Sam's quad, you said seller is from Silver Lake, Sam lives at Silver Lake, could it be 1+1??
