getting the car ready

Ok, so the 50+ degree temps and lack of white stuff at home is starting to get the better of me. Took a break from raking leaves and decided to clean up the garage. Of course that led to the decision to get the car and boys quads unloaded from the trailer and into the garage to start getting them ready for our 1st race in 7 weeks. Note: i usually do this around the last week in April after we finally put our ski equipment away.....
Rolled Cam's Blaster out of the trailer, climbed on and gave it a kick. It fired up 1st kick and stayed running! Took it for a quick tear around the yard and went after Jordan's Blaster. That one took about 6-8 kicks.
Blew up the tires on Chainreaction and rolled it into the garage, got it up on the stands and decided to check a few things out. The last time I charged the battery (about a month ago), the throttle cable was frozen up and when I cranked it over, it acted like it wasn't getting any spark. So i turned on the battery disconnect, pumped the throttle twice and hit the start button. The little rotary instantly fired and stayed running! I can't get it to do that at the races.... Now just a little carb work, a quick clutch adjustment and it'll be ready to play.
Just give me a minute, I'll figure out how to break it!
